Nathan is a community engagement strategist and consultant for the Portland Diamond Project. His presentation will cover the current status of the effort to bring a major league baseball team to Portland and the building of a privately financed ballpark. He will explain who the Portland Diamond Project is and how they plan to instill Portland values as the cornerstone of our efforts. He will discuss the options of securing either an expansion team or a team looking to relocate. He will also ask that all those in support of these efforts go to www.portlanddiamondproject.com to sign the petition that the Portland Diamond Project will be sending to major league baseball commissioner post World Series with 50,000 signatures.
